Electro-Flux was incorporated in 1994 as a sole propriety firm in Islamabad Pakistan with the primary objective to undertake Research and Development activity not within the scope of the existing R&D centers in Pakistan.
In order to generate funds for such an activity the company started off with the manufacturing of good quality Uninterruptible Power Supplies and Voltage Stabilizers. After 15 years of inception, the company has now perfected the technology involved in the design of these items.
The focus on the primary objective of the company was never over shadowed by the production of consumer items. Pakistan being a developing country and with virtually no base in the Electronics technology; had absolutely no organization or private institution with expertise in the field of Power Electronics. During early 90’s the concepts of Switch Mode Power Supply, high efficiency DC-to-DC conversion, Motor Speed Control both through Phase Angle Control and Frequency were non-existent or scarcely known in Pakistan. Only a few companies were providing maintenance services to the industrial units who had employed modern machinery and tools. 
Electro-Flux has pioneered the development of Power Electronics Equipment particularly with focus on solving the problem of producing small size, light weight power supplies of high efficiency.
The Company has successfully completed may R&D projects which include Motor speed control, Temperature Control, DC to DC converters, Multiple output Switch-mode and Linear Supplies, Delay lines for RF applications, High frequency inverters, Battery chargers and Thyristor based high current PSUs for telecommunication applications.
